It’s especially important when faced with a fibromyalgia or any chronic pain illness to allow ourselves the gift of self-care. We don’t need to go to a gym and work out for 45 minutes, read a whole book in two days or eat healthy every moment of the day.
However, taking time for ourselves with small gestures like; stepping outside to get fresh air, pausing to give thanks, listening to music, taking a bath with epsom salts, or even a simple breathing exercise.
