A Step Out For Fresh Air

Self-Care of fresh air can reset our mind, body and soul. It’s important to step out of your home, especially those that are being challenged with fibromyalgia and chronic pain. This is not about walking or running a marathon.  Just consider taking a daily step outside. After your feet are holding you up steady or perhaps you would like to sit in a chair nearby.  Pause. Now take a deep breath in. Pause again, now exhale slowly.  Look around you. What do you see, hear, smell, taste or feel? Are the birds chirping, the sun touching your face or do you hear the sounds of the rain? Look up, do you see the clouds or blue skies? Smiles gently or as big as you can.
