Pacing Yourself

How is your body feeling?  If you’re tired, rest. If you’re going too fast, slow down. Keep physical activity in short durations.  Pushing yourself can bring on fatigue. When you’re at an all day gathering take rests if needed. Know your limits and honor them. Prioritize tasks while taking in consideration the amount of energy you have. With fibromyalgia and chronic pain, pacing can become your best friend. 

Self-awareness is key for me; checking in with my body throughout the day.
