We’ve all heard that “Laughter is the best medicine” – well it is true!
Laughing is especially important for those living with fibromyalgia and chronic pain. Here are a few reason it’s good to laugh with others or laugh with a movie or even laugh at ourselves when we do something silly.
- Boosts the immune system
- Can help reduce pain
- Allows the body and emotions to de-stress
- Triggers the release of endorphins the “ feel good” chemical in our bodies
Laughter can even help you to live longer.
